Fields of Interest	I am interested in developing new ideas or forms as well as introducing classical repertoires for our local audience. It is important to extend the centrality of Korean performing arts scene into local areas, based on the unique colours of programme for its fertile future.
Experience in regards to Theater Programming	I had worked for Seoul Performing Arts Festival for 8 years as a program manager and moved to the local theatre in Daejeon, which has a great potential but has not yet developed its full capacity. I would love to see how it can find its own unique programme, connecting with international artists as well as with local artists.

Experience in regards to International Collaboration	I have been collaborating works with international partners such as Vienna Schausphilhaus, Theatre des Halles, Padmini Chettur, David Pledger, Michael Clark, and Magie Marin. The scope of collaboration varied from just putting the financial input to devising works together, but all has been an inspiring experience for me to appreciate different cultures.

Collaboration with Pierre Rigal, 2012 LG Arts Center and French Company Compagnie Dernière Minute and Swiss Theatre Vidy-Lausanne co-produced a new dance piece called Theatre of operation, choreographed by Pierre Rigal, the artistic director of Compagnie Derniere Minute in France with engaging Korean dancers, Korean costume designer and stage co-operation by LG Arts Center staff. As a main co-producer, LG Arts Center helped finding Korean dancers and creative team and provided rehearsal studio for 50 days and technical support for the premiere. After premiered at LG Arts Center on 14 – 15 September 2012, the production successfully toured in Europe for 10 cities including Paris and Swiss Lausanne in 2012-2013 season. 2. Co-production with Pina Bausch Wuppertal Tanztheater, 2005 LG Arts Center co-produced Pina Bausch Wuppertal Tanztheatre’s ‘Rough Cut’ in 2005 which was inspired by Korean culture and Korean people. During their creation period in Wuppertal, our staff and I supported their research works by sending many materials, photos and music of Korea, and helped the company members to experience Korean life and meet Korean people when they visited Korea for 2 weeks in 2004. Experience in regards to Theater Programming	Philip Bither, the Walker‘s Senior Curator of Performing Arts since 1997, oversees one of the country's leading contemporary performing arts programs. Prior to this, he served as Director of Programming for the Flynn Theatre and Artistic Director of the Discover Jazz Festival in Burlington, VT. Through the 1980s, he worked as the Associate Director/ Music Curator of the Next Wave Festival at Brooklyn Academy of Music. He received the Fan Taylor Distinguished Service Award in 2009. In 2011, he helped found the Institute for Curatorial Practice in Performance graduate program at Wesleyan University and continues to serve on its faculty. He has served on the Board of Directors for Jerome Foundation since 2009. He sits on numerous federal, state, local, and national foundation arts panels and he speaks and writes about the contemporary performing arts nationally.
